Teaching philosophy

Teaching and mentoring is an important part of my career. My goal is not only to teach students course content but also to help them to learn new ways of thinking that they can take beyond the classroom. From my experiences so far, I have developed a toolbox for teaching students from varying backgrounds, for adapting my courses based on the needs of students in my class, and for keeping students engaged while challenging them to learn new mathematics.

2025 - 2026 teaching

I will be teaching at Northwestern. In Fall 2025, I will be teaching single-variable integral calculus (220-2, MWF 11am). In Winter 2026, I will be teaching two sections of linear algebra (240-0, MWF 12pm and 1pm). In Spring 2026, I will be teaching one section of linear algebra (240-0, MWF 10am).
